From Scribbles to Stories

Ottawa RISE C13 presents an opportunity for youth ages 15-30 to share their stories for an opportunity to WIN an essentials access to the Digital Arts Resource Centre (DARC)! Digital Storytelling Contest

Using the core topic of governance, financial security, housing, employment, transit, and food security, young videographers will create a 3–5 minute short video sharing their stories and the stories of their communities.

Writing Contest

Using the core topic of governance, financial security, housing, employment, transit, and food security, young writers will submit a piece that reflects their style in 1000 words or less. This includes poems, short stories, zines, songs, etc.

Award Information

Digital Arts Resource Centre (formerly SAW Video) is a not-for-profit, artist-run media art centre in Ottawa, Ontario that fosters the growth and development of artists through access to equipment, training, mentorship, and programming. Their mission is to support a diverse community of media artists empowered by technology, programming and the exchange of ideas.
